How will I know if my AOS 864 has been reviewd and accepted

OK so I sent in the 864 package. Me as the petitioner (and sponsor) for my wife. In the same package I sent the 864 for her co-sponsor as I already know I don't make enough to meet the guidelines.

So today I get an email stating I do not meet the guide lines etc. .... But nothing about the co sponsor and if that package was accepted. I call the NVC freaking out thinking the co sponsor was not accepted also and they tell me at NVC they don't show a record of the co sponsor. Does this mean they have not looked at it yet?

Then today I get another email with an RFE just saying to submit the DS230. This time the RFE says nothing about not being able to meet the poverty level guidelines. etc.

So my question is do you think they finally looked at the co sponsors 864 packet and it has been accepted? Wouldn't they have ask for more stuff if they needed anything from my co sponsor?

I wish I knew how this all worked.

reread that 'rfe' about the ds-230 . There should be a carefully constructed sentence in there using the word 'support'. Find it, paste it back here, and I'll vette what's what for ya.

The DS-230 will never say anything about meeting poverty guidelines. It has nothing to do with your Affidavit of support.

Seems what you got was a checklist for the I-864 stating you don't meet the guidelines which u knew. Does it state anywhere that the decision will be made at the consulate?

The email for the DS-230. Is it telling you to pay your IV Bill or did you do that?

Wish you could post up here your two letters or if you could just state word for word what was said.
