Good Morning everyone!

Here goes my situation:

I am Brazilian, currently going through the NVC process living in Rio Grande do Norte (Northern part of Brazil) but born in Sao Paulo (Down south). I moved here in the end of December of 2012 from Sao Paulo. With this move, I lost my vaccination card. I am aware that for the medical I'm supposed to present my vaccinations, so I went to a Post de Saude (Health post) here in Ponta Negra where Im living. Of the list of about 15 vaccines, I managed to get about 5 of them. Some are almost impossible to get because they are the ones you get when you are an infant. So what do I do now? Does the immigration doctor provide the missing vaccines for me? Is there a fee for them if so? Do I have to look harder here in Natal to see if I can get them? What if I can't get them all?

Amazing how something so small, in the mind of someone going through this process feels like a hurricane.

P.S: I am in perfect health

Regards!

Thalita

You will only need the MMR, TdAp, confirmation of chicken pox (or vaccine) and flu in season for an adult. You do not need all the vaccines - some are only for children.

You should consult with the panel physician in your country for more information.
