hi guys!., im sending an lbc box to my family back home, i've done it twice already but haven't tried to ship chocolates due to the fact that its going to melt esp our box doesn't come to their destination after a month, but this time my nieces, nephew and my siblings are asking for chocolates. Any suggestions on best way to pack chocolates so it'll prevent from melting? im thinking of putting it on insulated bags, i got 2 of them so. What do you think?

i sent some chocolates back home, took them 3 months to receive it but that was the time when i was still in England. I don't know how long it will take here. But anyway, it didn't melt. My friend advised me that once you get all those chocolates, do not put it in the fridge, pack it straight to the box. I just put it in between clothes and other stuff. My family told me that they were all intact, not deformed, not melted.

You have a decent chance if you insulate them in layers of clothes, towels, etc. in the middle of the box.

Buy those bite size or individually packed chocolates so if ever they do melt during transport it's not as messy.

Good luck!

don't forget if the chocolates are not sealed in plastic, to put them in a sealed bag just in case.

I sent two balikbayan boxes with LBC this summer with chocolates and they made it there without being melted. I did not make any special packaging for them. some chocolates were in the middle and some were on top. I sent individual candy bars, packs of chocolates, you name it, i sent it. i would not worry too much and i did not pack it well at all. Good luck

I Looooooove my baby Lyn.

We send big bags of those mini candy bars all the time in our big box from LBC we ship yearly to family. We never heard about any issues of them being melted or messy. They always ask for more when we are shipping another box.
