A beautiful afternoon to us all,

pls any body 've advice on my situation, I will be going to the us in few days and I have with me in cash ten thousand and hundred dollars($10, 100).

would I be require by the cbp to pay duty on the cash or just to declare the cash by fill the form and go with my cash? or I will be asked to pay duties on my money? pls any advice?

On the way back from 9ja, when you fill the form (fincen 105) it asks you to declare a cash value of 10,000 or more.so yes declare it if its 10,000 or more . you will not pay duties on it. :thumbs: . but the form is reported to the IRS and they determine if you will later pay taxes on that. hope this helps.

Make sure you declare it, no tax is due to bring it in. You may get pulled into secondary for carrying that much cash. Make sure it is on your person or in your carry-on. I know this sounds stupid but some people don't like to carry that much cash and put it in their checked baggage. Good for my hubby he didn't, as they lost both his bags.
