Hi Everybody

We did not receive a mailing envelope, or mention of it, when we received the RFE. We have read on the website that we MUST have it to mail our response for our response to be considered. Is this true? How do we get this envelope? If we don't get it, would it be ok to just copy the bar code and case number -provided on the blue letter- on any regular envelope and mail it like that?

thanks for your help :}

I did not receive an envelope too. But I mailed it and tracked it in a regular envelope

When responding to a Request for Evidence it is extremely important that you place the blue coversheet on the top of the response you send to them. The VSC/CSC receives thousands of pieces of correspondence each day, if the blue coversheet is not on the top of the response it will be placed in “general” correspondence and NOT sorted as a priority, which may delay your case.

You do not need an envelope. The address is on the RFE form for the return mail, use your own envelope but make SURE the form they sent you is in there.

Make a copy of everything before you send it.
