Hi everyone,

I am extremely lost on what to do right now. I should have posted sooner about this, but I really thought that the amount of time I have waited is normal for the application since the research I did had led me to believe that it can take up to a year for AOS. However, now that I've read other people's timelines I'm realizing that mine is very long. Anyway, here goes:

As per my timeline in my signature, we got married last March and we got my NOA in May and Biometrics in June. Since then I received my EAD almost weeks after my biometrics (which we also filed with I-485) but we've have had no updates at all on my AOS. No interview or anything. I figured that a year was normal, but now I don't know.

Does anyone have any advice for us to get this moving along? We're about to hit a year on the date we filed it on. We'd really appreciate any advice at all.

Thank you!

Edit: When I check my USCIS case status, it is on Initial Review.

I would definitely call USCIS and go through each tier until you get to at least the second and ask why it is taking so long. Be firm but respectful.

I called about mine a week ago and they told me to give it 2-4 more weeks and call back.
