Hi, hope you guys can help with a slight concern that my wife and i have. I have flights booked to visit her in the States leaving on Saturday for 3 weeks. However we got the great news yesterday via e-mail that the NVC had completed processing and we now had to wait for the interview date. On the e-mail it specifically says NOT to book any flights or make any travel arrangements until after you have the visa. So now i'm wondering if there'll be any issues with me travelling on Saturday or are they referring to booking flights for after i have the visa. Hope someone can shed some light for me. Thanking you in advance.

They are speaking of your actual immigration plans/flight.

Visit all you want.

Please remember, every entrance into the US is up to the discretion of the POE officer.

Bring ties to your country which would include your NOA2, the email of NVC completion, and anything else you have proving you will return.

Never lie at the border.

And enjoy your vacation.
