Kids under the age 18 automatically become US citizens, if green card holders when you do. You just put their names on your application. But automatic citizens without proof, either have to apply for an N-600 for each kid, 600 bucks, or apply for a US passport. Or both for the long term.

N-600, have to go to your field office for that, just a congratulations and the certificate, no tests. You all can travel with your foreign passports and green cards, just have to be careful not to miss any of your appointments. Usually going for a couple of weeks doesn't hurt for your biometrics, but don't want to miss your interview nor oath ceremony.

Just wondering how the “Automatically" works. I know, on N-400, section 9, we have to provide the details about the Children. Any extra paper work ( kid has Green Card), Should Children have to attend Oath Ceremony and do they get Certificate of Naturalization??
