our I-129F is already approved last 2006-10-17, im only waiting for pocket 3 and 4, but then my fiance will be transfering to his new apartment next week, do i need to contact NVC to inform his new address? what are we going to do with it? plz help ur guyz... thanks...

You certainly can try to do it at the NVC but since petitions can be processed fairly quickly there it may be easier to do it at the consulate. I would e-mail the consulate and ask the procedure.

You should contact NVC, but even when doing so, make sure your fiance calls her embassy once she knows the case is there, 'cus they usually don't get NVC's change of address info and end up sending the package to the old address.Tell her to do by phone as it's a certain thing.

I believe you have another post about the same question.

If your case is on it's way to you(you have received NOA2), the change of address in US will not affect anything. If you are going to change your address, let the consulate know by faxing them the new address.

Our_Love, There is no packet 3 for Manila, just a packet 4. Have your fiance call the embassy and give them the change of address and to check if they have received your case yet. He should receive a letter fromt he embassy stating they have received your case 2-3 weeks after tey get it. I know it can not be helped sometimes but it is not a good idea to be moving in the middle of the process, especially at this stage. Good luck, Ken (Payato)

19 Jan - CFO completed after SLE shots... have to go back for the stamp after visa approval

15 Feb 07 - Interview Approved

24 Feb 07 - Arrive at Honolulu POE

2 Apr 07 - Married, civil ceremony, mailed AOS

17 Apr 07 - Checks cashed for AOS & AP

22 Apr 07 - Filed Expedite for AP

8 May 07 - Biometrics Appt

8 May 07 - Filed complaint with local USCIS for no action on Expedite request

9 May 07 - AP Expedite approved via email

14 May 07 - received AP I-512L documents in the mail

25 Jun 07 - AOS Interview scheduled but cancelled due to deployment and family emergency

29 Nov 07 - Visited local USCIS to reschedule AOS interview

15 Jan 08 - Local USCIS finally forwards reschedule request after formal complaint

8 Feb 08 - Received new Interview date

28 Mar 08 - AOS Interview ..investigation reopened due to incorrect birthdate that was identified 05/07

16 Apr 08 - CRIS Notice of GC approval and welcome notice via email

25 Apr 08 - GC received finally!

15 Jan 10 - Mailed Lifting of Conditions Package

19 Jan 10 - Package received at VT USCIS

22 Jan 10 - Checked cashed by USCIS

26 Jan 10 - Received NOA dated 20 Jan 10
