My man dropped his passport off at the embassy in the afternoon on Feb.7th and received a tracking number, but ive been checking the dhl website and everytime I try to track it dhl says "No result found for your DHL query. Please try again". Is there a certain amount of time I have to wait until I can see movement on it, or should I be concerned and have him get in touch with the field office???

In my past experience with using DHL the tracking usually showed up 24 to 48 hours after the item had left the DHL location.

Its quite possible on the embassy end that they have not yet printed / sent the visa out with DHL, no harm in him contacting them to find out tho if you are concerned.

Mine did the same thing. I tried tracking it for two days and then the 3rd day I got an email from the embassay saying they had gotten it. I guess they just didn't bother to enter it. Might be your case too!

It should show up and say shipment on hold by Monday
