Hi :) im just new here...my fiancee applied K1 for me ,we're still in the process of waiting for NOA2 (hopefully we'll get it soon ) .I would just like to ask for any infos and tips for getting ready for a medical exam at St. Lukes :) (iVE HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT IT (not so good things :P)....I am just so anxious about it I cant help it...Thanks in Advance :)

My fiancee had no issues. Read the guide on St Lukes in the Philippine forum and you will get some good ideas. Or ask this question in the Philippine forum.

NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12

NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012

Drink alot of milk (full cream milk) and buy distilled water..Good for the lungs yan!and stay healthy..exercise like jogging so that ur lungs are healthy...

July 25,2013--USCIS received my AOS packaet

July 31, 2013-Email/text notication from USCIS

August 1, 2013- Check encashed

August 5, 2013-Received NOA1's in the mail.

August 9,2013- Received my Biometric Appointment Notice in the mail.dancin5hr.gif

August 15, 2013. Done with my biometric..(walk-in in Local USCIS in Philadelphia)

October 2, 2013- Approved EAD and AP.
October 13, 2013-Recevied my Combo Card( EAD and AP) through mail.

November 14, 2013- Received a Letter of Potential Waiver Interview in the mail.

January 14, 2014- Approved Green Card date. Anniversary date of my 2-year Green Card.

January 23, 2014- Received my green card in the mailbox.

Reminder:

I have to apply for ROC of my 2 year green card within October 20, 2015 to December 2015.

i was too.. but i all went well.. just a quick peep somewhere down there...lol..maybe that is the thing ur so anxious with... and it is normal to be anxious

but im pretty sure u will be ok..

haysss....im just so scared lng tlga na bka ma extend yung paghihintay...coz to be honest...we've been on a long distance relationship for almost 5 years na :(...may mga nging problems kasi before kya natagalan yung filing ng K1....I know na kinaya nga yung almost 5 years bakit ndi yung ilang buwan nlng...but still...being away from your happiness (i call him happiness :) ) nkakabaliw sya :crying:

hi there. i know how you feel as my fiance and i have been away from each other for 8 years now. it might help speed things up for you if you register at st luke's website. basically it lets you fill out their form ahead of time so that when you walk in for the actual medical, you should have minimal stuff to fill out and go thru faster with the lab and exams. you may visit their website as the other fellow suggested.
