I only spent one week because of my school and work stuff. Am about petitioning for him a fiance visa and he will be going thru us embassy in Qatar cos he lives and work there. mean while we have a little age difference, so please i want to know our chances of being approved and getting his visa to come over and join me cos the distance is really affecting us.I really miss him here. Please i really need urgent advice.

Hello! Sorry to ask: How much is the age difference? That could be a red flag, if it is like 25 years difference. In any case, please check whether you guys are legaly able to marry each other at the current moment, if you have proofs of those visits as first step. Then you guys will need to prove an ongoing relationship and that you are able to support him in USA. It is a rough overview. Follow the guidelines in this site. Good luck!!

Big age differences are a Red Flag to the COs depends on alot of things the only requirement for a K1 visa is that you meet face to face at least 1 time in the 2 years prior to your filing so you have that but you will need to over come anything that they will think is for immigration only It depends on if you are still in child baring years, if you are different religion, race, etc... these are things you will have to address and just prove you have a relationship... just read others posts in the embassy review that might help you... Good luck and welcome to VJ.

This Embassy/country is a high fraud country. Read up on the applicable regional forum for others' stories.

while there are red flags etc, some people have been approved with such red flags yet you must take them into serious consideration as you move along. you need to have had a facer to face meeting in person within 2yrs before you file as memlura said which you have overcome.I hope you have proof of that visit cos you will need to include such documentation and other evidence of bonafide relationship to improve your chances of being approved by USCIS. pls take time to read up the guide on how to file a k-1 visa.

wishing you the best.
