Hi I'm an f1 visa in California, and we already passed the form i130, 485 and 765, I recently had my schedule for my biometrics on feb 21,2013. I just really want to get out of my school coz it had been such a hassle and the administration has been complicated there. Is it ok to stop school while m waiting for my green card? Am I out of status or will ill be exempted since my paparty are on file? Help!!! I want to end school coz I'm planning to enroll on a nursing school anyways when I get my green card.

Yes it's okay to quit. You are in a NEW period of authorized stay while your AOS is pending.

Thanks I'm really on a dilemma since I know a lot of people who still continue there f1 coz they're scared to risk it and I know some people who didn't
