Hi all,

I entered US as K1 and my kids were K2 beneficiary however we were not able to get them before their K2 approval expired. My USC husband wants to bring them here and as I read, he can be the petitioner of my children as his stepchildren ( correct me if I am wrong ). My question is:

1. I forgot the visa category I know its IR something :D but anyway, can anyone give me any idea how he application packet should be arranged?

2. What are the documents needed?

3. What is the processes involved from filing to approval and what are the corresponding fee? I am aware of the application fee for the I-130, medical, and Visa fee at the US Embassy in Manila...is there any other fee that must be paid other than the ones I mentioned?

4. If and when they arrive here in the US, are they supposed to go through the Adjustment of Status for them to live here permanent?

5. At what point will they get their Social Security number?

Sorry if i raised a lot of question, I know some may think its best to cross the bridge ones you're there but I do want everything figured out before they arrive here. I just want to be sure first and foremost they will be able to continue their studies and will be secured ( health insurance wise ).

Thank you everyone fore the help!
