How long does it take to be able to view cases online? NOA1 date 01/16, and we're still not able to see anything online. What's an estimate time frame for this?

Thanks in advance.

it took probably 2 weeks to be able to check my status online... but I think is not the most reliable source of information. I'm july 2012 filer and my AoS is still in "acceptance"...(I adjusted from a k1 visa)

and don't worry, as long as you have your NOA1 with you, that's all that matters. I remember I got my biometrics appointment notice BEFORE been able to check my status online. My EAD/AP status went from "acceptance" to "card production'" I was like what? hahahahaha.... so don't worry and enjoy the journey. Now you need to wait to receive your biometric app notice, a month later after your bio, you should be receiving your EAD/AP card combo

thank you soooooo much!!! Now I know to exepect my husband's and step daughters biometrics letter in the mail sooner than seeing the case online. but i have one more question. Do you know where your case is at now? Did it get transferred to CSC or you're waiting for an interview at your local field office?

I'm so lost. How would someone find out where it will be sent to?

Well, there;s something you should know. Since July/august 2012, AoS cases are no longer process by Vermont/california CS. Back then, your case used to be sent to Vermont and then fwr to your local office to have an interview OR being transferred to CSC and have no interview, just being approved and then they mail you your green card and welcome letter.

Since july, the National benefit center is currently processing all AOS cases. They can send your case to your local office or they keep it at the NBC facility and approve your case without an interview.

This procedure was change cause, people need to wait 8 to 11 month to get the GC (MOSTLY CSC transferred), since the NBC is taking all the AoS cases, things should be speeding up a lil bit.

My husband and I sent my AoS package on july 19 and Im still waiting. I called 2 weeks ago and my package is currently @ the NBC facility at Summit Lee. I've being waiting to get news from my case for 6 month.

I didn't get an RFE or anything like that. But several friends of mine who adjusted 2 and 3 month later than me, they already had their interviews :bonk: but the main difference was that they cases were fwr to their local office as soon as they sent their package and mine is still at the nbc facility.

I was talking to a guy in the same situation and we both think maybe our cases can be approved without having the interview, otherwise, why our packages remains there?

so here we are :star:

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."
