I have read various post about what is needed when, but there is no clear cut answer to me. I know this to be true so far:

1. Valid passport (if over 16 years of age), for at least six months from the date of the interview

2. Two completed Form DS-156, Nonimmigrant Visa Application

3. Two recent photographs following visa photo guidelines

4. Official birth certificate

5. Permission to travel from other parent;

6. Complete medical examination report from USCIS panel physicians

Ok, I know I need to fill out another I-129F, do I submit that at the same time as the K1 packet? Are there any other forms to fill out? What if there is no contact with her child's father or unable to find him? Will the child have to go a separate day or the same day as my finacee for the medical?

I appreciate any help in clearing this up. Also, Paul is only 15 months old now.

1. Valid passport (if over 16 years of age), for at least six months from the date of the interview

2. Two completed Form DS-156, Nonimmigrant Visa Application ++

3. Two recent photographs following visa photo guidelines you need photo of you together, plus 2X2 style photoS for K-1 & 2 beneficiary.

4. Official birth certificate Yes a certified copy for the 129F petition process for Petitioner. Later NSO BC at the embassy for the beneficiaries.

5. Permission to travel from other parent; NO

6. Complete medical examination report from USCIS panel physicians. ?? There is a link in my signature for the embassy process, has a section about the medical.

Close but no cigar, you have a mix-match of things for different parts of two different processes.

:guides:

Ok, I know I need to fill out another I-129F NO, do I submit that at the same time as the K1 packet you include the child in the original I-129F petition? Are there any other forms to fill out :guides: ?What if there is no contact with her child's father or unable to find him no one will ask or care about the father? Will the child have to go a separate day or the same day as my finacee for the medical there is a link in my signature to the K-1 process which includes a link to the embassy letter of instructions?

I appreciate any help in clearing this up. Also, Paul is only 15 months old now.

This link should all you'll need during the interview

You don't need to fill out another I-129F form but if you have the copy of the packet you've sent those to your fiance(e). Petitioner need to fill out I-134, Letter of Employment and updated Letter of Intent and then post mail it to the Philippines

With a child, sorry I'm not expert on that process

Good luck!

to start, you just need to list the child on the I-129f, part B, question 13.

Well they don't need any of the DS forms (yet) for the I-129F petition, which is where I gather they are currently at in the process. Little confusing with the way things are worded.

I am not sure if anyone already answered this question, but does anyone know or have experience with a single mother who has a child under 8 years old, and who's father is a foreign national that left the Philippines and who doesn't support said child, need a permission letter or any documentation from Philippines government, in order to apply for the K2 visa? Asking for a friend who is beginning their K1 visa process.

You replied to an 8 year old thread. If you weren't married, then you, as the mother have sole custody and no permission is needed.
