Hi all,

For those who have, or are in the process of getting their N400's processed through the Chicago office - how long is it taking for you? My PD is 09/04/2012, I received my YL for extra evidence (told to bring in my drivers licence to the interview) on the 11/26/2012, and yet STILL no interview letter. I'm really starting to stress. I need to get back home for a trip, and this is taking so long. When I first applied the Process time on the USCIS site for Chicago was ahead of the National timing, now they seem to be behind. Where is everyone else sitting timewise? Thanks!

I'm not sure what "PD" means, but if you mean that that is your filing date, then I would suggest that you find the September Filers thread (it should be on page 1 or 2 of this forum) add your name to the list there and try to find folks who submitted their apps the same time as you. You can also look in the August and October filers for people who are also waiting on interviews/results from Chicago.

Good luck.

p.s. Just noticed that you've filled in your timeline and yes, you mailed your application in September. So yes, definitely look for the September Filers thread and also .. thank you for filling in your timeline. It's much appreciated!

Hi there, thanks for the reply! How did your interview go? Yes, I'm positive there was no interview date with the letter. I still called and asked about it. The person wasn't very helpful. What is an infopass appointment? How much notice do they give you for the interview (date on the letter?). Thanks so much!

My interview went very well, thanks you. I don't know a whole lot about infopass appointments but basically you can walk in and talk to someone in person by scheduling them, i'm sure if you search the forums there will be more information.

I had at least a couple of months notice for my interview, i think.
