Hi, quick question. My fiance and i would like to get pregnant right away. But as i was reading the requirements and guidelines of the vaccination, it says there that vaccines includes live vaccines which may cause birth defects/deformities when given to pregnant women or to child-bearing women who may become pregnant within four weeks from receipt of the said vaccines. So i am just wondering since the list of vaccines required is already given, can i just have those that i haven't had yet in advance? So by the time the visa gets approved, i wont have to wait to get pregnant?

dear u should ask this kind of question to your doctor to get an accurate answer. obviously most people here aren't medical professional

and to answer your question if you could take those shot in advance i doubt it. because u need to take those when u got here in the US..

goodluck

The longer it takes to happen the more you'll appreciate it when it does!

Oh ok. Thanks. yeah I was really planning to see a doctor about this one. Coz the shots are required during the medical exam before the interview. I just wasnt sure if I can have it done before that and just have a medical certificate or something that would say that I already had those shots. :)

There will be a possibility that the doctors at St. Lukes Clinic will not honor the vaccination records that your fiancee will bring and that they will give her more vaccine shots still even though she just got them.

And please note that all the vaccine shots required at the medical exam are already included in the medical fee.

Here's your schedule:

Week 1: Complete your medical at St. Lukes (including all of the necessary vaccines).

Week 3: Complete your Embassy interview.

Week 4: Receive your visa.

Week 5: Fly to the U.S. and get pregnant.

Problem solved! :)
