Hi All, I was told that I could just email the DS230 and DS2001 to the IV unit in Manila after the I-130 is approved upstairs. Does anyone know what the email address is so I can send these documents ?

Did you email the DS-230, DS-2001 before or after you paid the fees to the NVC? How did you email the forms that need a signature??? print out, sign, scan, and then email? ALSO HOW DID YOU GET YOUR CASE NUMBER... I haven't gotten our case number yet.

Hi there..

We send our DS230 and DS2001 thru email by scanning all docs originally having it sign.. its been a month now since we send it.. wondered what's going on? and how long we had to wait for them in able to know when would be our appointment date for interview or even medical.?

We also try to check our status and it said like this:

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have received interview scheduling instructions.

Any of you here had the same status of mine?... Thanks

Best Regards,

Geri

schedule a visa interview date online or by phone. this is the email i received from them. takes them along time to get back to you so you have to email them to keep the ball rolling. you have to make the appointment you're self.....

We received the Forms DS-230 and DS-2001, and updated our records of the case.

The applicant should visit this website: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph or contact the Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 982-5555 or (632) 902-8930 to schedule a visa interview date. The Visa Information and Appointment Service is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Manila time) except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers in the U.S. should call (214) 571-1600 between 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Callers should have the applicant’s case number, passport number, and passport expiry date ready when requesting a visa appointment.

The applicant should follow all interview preparation instructions for immigrant visa applicants located on the Embassy’s website at http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html. The instructions contained at the website will provide the applicant the required documentation and procedures to follow prior to the interview date.

Applicants are advised to have their medical examinations done at St. Luke’s Extension Clinic in Manila at least one week before their visa interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy. Applicants are encouraged to register online at the St. Luke’s website: www.slec.ph prior to their medical exam.

The applicant should compile all the required documents and complete the medical examination before the visa interview (when scheduled). Please note that the medical examination may take more than one day to complete.

I emailed my DS forms and 3 days later made my interview appointment online. Don't wait for anything from them, it's not coming. Go online now and make your appointment. If the system allows it your good to go and after 30 days of waiting I'm sure you will be fine. Good Luck
