My fiancee has been vaccinated in Guayaquil Ecuador when she was a child. She does not know how or where to find any evidence of being vaccinated. Doea anyone here know if there are records stored for public health records in ecuador?

If she cannot come up with any written evidence, does that mean she needs to get all required vaccines?

What are the current requirements?

thanks!

Wade

I know you can research vaccine requirements for Ecuador. If they have records stored that's great, if not she could get her titres (blood test to show immunity), or she could also get her vaccines re-done.

For myself, I had to get my MMR re-done because the records were too old and I believe after a certain age it may not show up in the titres anyway. I do have to get my titre done for my chicken pox though as I did have it as a child and was never vaccinated.

My wife went to the clinics set up by the Ministry of Health and got them free of charge. They gave her one a month.

She could have tests for anti-bodies, or just get them again
