Hello all! This is my first time writing here, but have been reviewing this site for a while as I prepare to submit my I-129F. So much useful information! To give my background, I am the US petitioner, and my fiance is Ecuadorian. We're applying for a fiance visa, and are at the beginning of the process...preparing everything for the I-129F.

This may be a minute detail, but I've searched all over for an answer and haven't found one, so I apologize if I'm repeating information. My fiance's name has a Spanish enye (ñ) in it, and I'm not sure whether I should list that in Question 16 on the I-129F (fiance's name and address in native alphabet). I've seen discussion about accents over Roman letters, but I haven't seen a definite answer on whether an enye is distinct enough to be placed under Question 16.

Maybe I'm thinking about this too hard, but it's hard not to during this process!

Any suggestions or advice greatly appreciated! :)

I think the symbol is more for pronunciation than spelling, but I could be wrong. I wouldn't rack my brain too much about it.
