911 tape of woman that used gun to save family

Shame it was not fatal. The taxpayer bill to patch this guy up will be huge and we will deal with him the rest of his life. I loved it when he reported he was bleeding.. Heart warming.

I don't think it's right to rejoice in any person's death. She was able to defend herself without a fatality, which is good.

Yeah, I think you might have a problem.

Nope.. I should clarify I was glad she had hit him. A criminal who had no respect for life or property was trying to get to an innocent woman and her kids in their own home. Yes I wish it had been fatal. I am sure he had the same intentions for them.

burglar doesn't mean murderer. and while both are wrong, i was brought up that two wrongs don't make a right. throughout my lifetime, this much has held true. so i've made it a rule to never wish or want death for anyone. probably has no effect on karmic balance but at least it makes me feel better..

You sound like a commie.

wouldn't be the first time someone made that connection, but i really am much too liberal to be a commie.

i'm not saying i'm not glad this woman was able to defend herself and her family. i probably would have shot the guy too if i had a gun and was hiding with my kids in the attic.

You don't like good people with guns killing bad people with or without guns. That makes you a commie. A pink one at that.

guilty. i don't like people killing other people.

oddly enough my favorite pastime is watching gore/horror cinema. and i've always been interested in events like jonestown. it's a twisted life i lead.

I think any situation where no one dies is the ideal solution. I read this last night and wondered what type of handgun she had; it must have been a small caliber.

I also think if God's name is evoked, you shouldn't be wishing people dead, just my honest opinion.

Well everyone see's things different. I see an honest law abiding women cowering in an attic, who defended herself and kids. I am sure the guy was not trying to get to her, to welcome to the neighborhood. he had bad intentions. That day good won over evil. Sorry Libs there is good and evil in the world. When he entered her home, that gave her the right to kill him. He is now laying in a hospital somewhere racking up a huge bill for the taxpayers. sorry but I just think society would have been better off if she had killed him. I really have no sympathy for someone like him . He deserves everything he got.

You did notice how long it took the Police to get there. More than likely she would be dead or raped if she had not been armed.
