I have filed for my mothers 1-130, still waiting for the approval .. Meanwhile I would like to find out whats the process of getting the police verification. My mom is 70 years old . She is in Pune and would be going to Mumbai consulate for her interview once the approval comes thru.

What are the other documents required. Can the forum help me.

My wife (USC) filed an I-130 for her mother to come over and they accepted it 10/22/12 and still waiting to hear.

Police Verification: I had my wife go to her local police station, tell them what she is doing, need a record.
