That's great. Hopefully I finish with NVC soon. But I meant to ask u how long did it take for them to review your documents after u emailed it to them? And I hope the US embassy in Sanaa starts moving faster.

Latest email I got from NVC.

Unfortunately, due to the current security situation in Syria, the U.S.

Embassy or Consulate General assigned to this case is currently closed

for visa processing. For updated information regarding the situation at

this U.S. Embassy or Consulate General please visit the following

website: www.usembassy.gov.

Hi Amelabdulla,

you said that NVC sent you an email that sait your case is complete, they also sent me an email on Sept. 3rd as well telling me the same.

Can you check on the Department of State Website and tell me what your case status looks like?

Here's where you check your case status --> https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

Hi everyone,

I have an update that I'd like you guys help me understand, I was told that my case has been sent to the U.S embassy in Sanaa on September 26, and when I check on the Department of State website --> https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx it says Ready in blue letters. And says "Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section."

I just called the NVC like 5 seconds ago and they said that on Sept 26 my case was electronically sent to Sanaa.

Does anyone know how long after the case is sent tot he embassy it takes for them to schedule the interview?

That's like my case too it says ready for appointment

Does your case status look like this? Ready in blue letters? What is the Status Updated Date?

Does it say "Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section"?

What is the difference between your case status and mine?

I attached a screenshot of what my Status looks like. Can you also attach a pic of yours too? You can cross out your case number like I did if you want. Or can you at least see if it is the same and tell me what's different?
