Where to translate documents?

Where would we translate the legal documents such as mine and hers birth certificate, marriage certificate to get the ir1/cr1 visa?

I used foxtranslate.com but any certified translator will do, or some one that will/can translate it for you and also include a letter stating that it translated accuratly, etc. from the translator.

Lots of people do it on their own.

Thanks, if I translate it myself would i need to get all the paperwork translated AND sent to the us embassy in Washington, D.C. to get it authenticated?

No, no authentication needed, you just have to attach a letter signed by you that reads like the following: (As given to me in the certifications from the site I used, obviously you won't use the legal mumbo jumbo. Just attest to the veracity of the translation)

has been translated by experienced and qualified professional translators and that, in our best judgment, the

I translated my marriage certificate from spanish to english since I'm fluent in those languages. I used the following language that was given to me on this forum.
