Alla is a translator/interpreter. If interested you can send me a private message. She has done documents for many VJ members. She is a certified medical interpreter and also interprets for USCIS, CBP and our court system and has Masters degress in Russian and English. ANY person competent in both languages can translate the documents though

BUT

Which "police papers"? She does not need her police certificate for the AOS

I used an online service located in New York and LA. Scan the documents to PDF and within 30 minutes I had the 4 pages back. Single pages are $30 and gets cheaper per page as volume increases. Also translation comes guaranteed and is checked by 3 people. Everything I have heard is consistent with what Gary is saying. My business uses a local woman for German documents. She just signs stating that the translation is accurate to the best of her abilities. US government, attorney's and others we do business with accept this.

police papers are not required for Adjustment of Status.

Please let us know, exactly, where you see this listed as a requirement?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
