Family Based F4 Greencard from India status

Hi Friends,

I don't this is suitable category or not for posting my query but after searching so all categories and reading all kind of threads, finally this category has been selected by me for raising my query.

My wife's greencard applied by her sister from Chicago on 15-Feb-2002 (category F4 India). Before 2 years back we got NVC mail regarding submission of DS230 forms and PCC. We already submitted all documents including DS230 and sister of my wife also paid all required IV Fees. But after that we didn't hear from NVC about our case. Recently I checked visa bulletins of last couple of months and found only 1 week cases are being proceeded by NVC every month. I don't understand when our visa call would be receiving. If I would get approximate visa call date or month then we can set up our rest of living arrangement in India. Could anybody advise or guide me about approximate visa call date or month of year. Thanks a lot in advance.

Nobody will tell you the exact time you've left to wait.

Sometimes the priority dates are getting quicker, sometimes slower.

It depends how many petisions they're proceeding.

Since now the current date for F4 preference in India is 08APR01, I think it's at least a year of waiting.
