DON'T WORRY!!!!

Not only am I like 99% sure nothing is wrong with your case, but I'm like 3892832983% sure NO ONE HAS EVEN LOOKED AT YOUR CASE YET!!! Nothing can go wrong with a case that hasn't even been looked at yet! They usually don't even look at a case until right before they approve / RFE it.

stop stressing lady!

I can feel how you feel. But hang in there it will come in God's perfect time. You just need to be more patient, positive and strong in the Lord. I just got approved today and I never expected it. I realize that the more you think about it, the more it will be delayed. So my advice for you is just to relax this time. I used to worry a lot to in the past few months, but those worries never helped me. The secret is just to unceasingly pray. We got our NOA2 for almost 8 months. After our 6 month mark on November 8, 2012, we made attempts to call the USCIS to file for a service, but unfortunately we were not able to file for a service request. It actually depends on the tier 2 whom you can speak with. After several attempts of calling the USCIS, on December 12 the tier 2 put on us on service request and told us to expect a letter within 2 weeks. We got the letter from the USCIS on December 30 and the letter stated that our case is still under review and have to wait again for 60 days. That letter made me cry coz I was thinking that it would really get another 60 days to make a post decision activity. But Ive talked to some of my good VJ friends, they made me relieved when they told me that 60 days is just a generic answer. So I have increased more my faith in God. Good things come to those who patiently wait and that's my motivation everyday. To my surprise, when I checked the USCIS website I was screaming for joy when I found out that my case is finally approved! I never expected that. It is really true that "THINGS COME THE LEAST WE EXPECT". Our case has been approved after 241 days! Almost 8 months. It will hit the 8th month this January 8. So just keep yourself relax this time and prepare the documents you need for the medical and interview. Your NOA2 will come soon. So hang in there. GOOD VIBES FOR 2013!!! Good luck!

It takes like 20 mins to look at your papers. So the first time someone looks at your papers, 20 minutes later you're either approved or not. So, don't think that it takes weeks or months of someone looking at your case, cause it soooo doesn't.

thank you so much for your advice. really almost 8 months. it seems so long.. so it means that if you will not put a service request you not be approved. what shud i do.? call now the uscis and do service request or we will just wait until 6 months will come. everyday i check the website and get disappointed cos its still initial review.maybe your right i need to relax and be patient. but honestly its hard to wait patiently when you dont know whats going on with your paper. me and my fiancee expecting this month noa2 will arrive.

Just call the USCIS after you pass the 6 month mark. Putting your case in service request will really help. I know its hard to wait, but you will get used to it. If you check on the website they are working on June 4. So I think you are still within the normal processing time. When you call the USCIS make sure you tell the customer rep that you would like to speak to a tier 2. So you will be on hold for more than 30 minutes before you get to speak to a tier 2. So tell your fiance to be nice and patient enough on the phone when he speaks to a tier2. Good luck and more patience to go. God bless :)
