K1 Visa Processing

GOOD DAY EVERYONE!!! :)

Sir/Ma'am I'm just bothered because until now I haven't receive any mail from the USEM in Manila.

The NVC letter from my fiance said that the case has been forwarded to the beneficiary's country. That was dated December 18, 2012, but he received his mail on December 24, 2012. He's from Hawaii.

My paperworks are almost done. I printed out the K1 preparation instructions and followed it religiously.

Here are the issues that I'm so confused right now! Just wanna clarify something regarding the process.

1. Can I now pay my K1 visa fee without any mail received yet from the USEM? I printed out the BPI slip already.

2. Is there any form that I will send back to the Embassy or bring it all on the day of my interview?

Thanks you so much!!! God Speed!

You do not have to wait for the letter from the US Embassy. It is the same as the one you downloaded.

1. Yes, you can now pay at the BPI for the K1 visa fee (Php 10,080). Bring your passport and the printed receipt. After payment, you can schedule your interview online. Ask your fiancee for your MNL case number and priority date (date USCIS received your petition). You will need those. Schedule your interview here: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/

2. No need to send documents to the embassy. Bring them on your interview.

Good luck! :)

Thanks much my dear! :)

Hi easr, I noticed on the left by your information it says you have applied for an F-1 visa. I think you mean a K-1 visa. It would be helpful if you could change Visa applied for to "K-1."

Thanks and Good luck

By the way, what does a K-1'er use the priority date for? I can't remember ever needing it.
