Hi guys, I hope everyone had a great holiday. Me and my fiancé has been in AP approaching 3 months(January 19th). My question is what is the average amount of time someone can stay in AP? When do you think I should start contacting the embassy( I stopped calling them after two weeks when they said they couldn't give further information)? My wedding is in August and I am praying that he comes to me soon. Also, is there anything else I can do to get in contact with them...I just want someone to talk to me so I can know exactly what's going on.

Confusing to say the least.

AP averages much less than 3 months so you are way past that. Which means nothing. It takes what it takes and the answer from the consualte will be the same.

If he gets his visa you need to get married within 90 of his arrival.

No one will talk to you because they do not want you to know what is going on.

I am so sorry to hear that. 3 months is a long time. Can anyone answer why does it take so long for AP status. I would bug the heck out of them and demand an answer. I don't think it's right. Did anything you suspect went wrong at the interview? We are almost at that interview process and am getting nervous just reading other people stories. It seems that our lives is determine by sometime the moods of these consulate which is not right.
