Hi all

I've received an e-mail for I-601A, but I've never been an unlawful resident in USA before, so please, can anyone help me in what to do? I didn't find any useful information in what to do if this don't apply to me, and why they've sent it to me in the first place..:(

Quote of the file attached to the e-mail:

"This notice applies to you if you are currently in the United States, are or have been unlawfully present and plan to apply for an immigrant visa at a U.S. embassy or consulate abroad. Beginning March 4, 2013, certain immediate relatives of U.S. citizens may apply for a provisional waiver of inadmissibility due to unlawful presence before leaving the United States. For more information, please visit immigrantvisas.state.gov. Before filing Form I-601A, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE NATIONAL VISA CENTER (NVC) by emailing NVCI601A@state.gov. Failure to notify the NVC that you plan to file Form I-601A will delay your visa application. "

Thank you for your help in advance

I would do mothing because it specifically states that: This notice applies to you if you are currently in the United States, are or have been unlawfully present and plan to apply for an immigrant visa at a U.S. embassy or consulate abroad so if you have never been unlawfully present in the USA I would disregard the email.
