Hi everyone,

I previously posted and got great advice back for some more.

I Finally got through the i-130 process and received my NAO2 for my wife.

Notice Date: November 23, 2012

Receipt date: August 21, 2012

Priority Date: August 20, 2012

I have all her documents ready from the shortcut guide previously given to me with a link LingChe NVC Shortcut and was finishing my sponsor documents too for the NVC requirement but after 30 business days I did not get a packet from the NVC.

I called the NVC after waiting 30min on the phone I got through, they told me they did not receive my package from homeland security. I gave her my WAC and she checked for me. I later was told last night and emailed my NAO2 to nvcresearch.state.gov asking for a case number and the IIN.

I am US citizen and she from the Philippines in case it's any relevance I was wondering how long is this going to stall my process.

This happened to me. I got NOA2 6/29 and had to wait that 15 business days and did the NVCresearch and they of course said "we don't have it" than on 7/28 called CSC and guess what it was just sitting there. The supervisor asked me did I want her to send to NVC and she did and it arrived and was received at NVC 7/30. I lost 31 days.

So I would call the service center that processed your petition.

I hear what your are saying. Out file was sent there too. They said it was put into a A-File. Whatever that means. I have been waiting since the end of Oct and still nothing. I called my sentor and they are taking care of it. That is how I found out about the A-file. But I don't know what a A-File is. I called NVC today and nothing. I am a US citizen also.

its on the bottom of your notice if yours is the same as mines it the following:

National Benefits center

USCIS, DHS

P.O BOX#648004

LEES'S SUMMIT MO 64064

1-800-375-5283

I just called them and they told me they can not take action till 90 Days pass USCIS i hope to have more luck with the NVC locating mines.

what can be done if i emailed their research.state.gov email with my notice should i just keep calling the nvc now since i have to wait 90 days before USCIS will do anything?
