Hi! I am completely new to this site, hope I don't anger anyone because I've duplicated a forum topic or because I'm not using this correctly...!

I need some advice for applying for the AOS and Advance Parole. I entered US on K1 visa in October 2012 and we are now married and I would like to visit my folks back home in UK in Feb, we are just about to send off for the AOS but haven't done so yet as my husband needs to do his taxes as we need that info for the AOS. My question is - Can I apply for advance parole without having sent off the AOS?

No. You cannot file for AP without filing for AOS. Does he need to do his 2012 taxes to be able to meet the income requirement for the I-864? If not, go ahead and file now, send in the most recent tax transcript, which is 2011. It takes 2-3 months to receive the EAD/AP after filing.
