passport photos, marriage certificate, w2s for AOS

Hi all,

I am planning on submitting my AOS (along with AP and EAD) next week, after I get married. I just had a few last minute questions that I can't seem to find an answer to.

For my passport photos, I believe I read that I need 2 for the i-485, 2 for the i-765 and 2 for the i-131 (6 photos total). I have the photos I used for my visa interview back in November. These photos were taken in the beginning on November. I have read someplaces that the photos must be no more than 30 days old, and I have read other places that the photos must be no more than 6 months old. VJ'ers who have submitted already, what have you done?

Also, I believe I read that I need a copy of my marriage certificate for these three forms. Do the three copies of the marriage certificate copy need to be certified, or can it just be a photocopy?

Lastly, my fiance (soon to be wife...3 days!) will be submitting the affidavit of support on my behalf. They call for tax returns. She has her w2s from 2011, 2010, and 2009. Can she submit those, or does she need her tax returns? I don't know if they are the same thing, or what exactly the tax returns are.

Yes you got it correct! You will need 6 photos total. My husband used the same ones from his interview as well. You will need 3 copies of the marriage license one one for AOS, EAD and AP - photocopies are fine. Also, she will need tax returns, not just w2 (she should have copies from the ones used for the visa) If not you can get a transcript from the IRS website.

The pics were the same ones we used for the 129F so a couple of months old - but he looks exactly the same.
