When we got married I paid extra for a certified copy as well that is what I gave NVC and then we had the original available for the interview but they didn't ask for it and then we got the certified copy back after the interview.

The best way to be safe is to send everything original because you will get back everything the day of Interview. I just send my IV Package this Thursday & I sent everything original because I don't want to get any RFE'S that may delay all the process. So hope you will send all originals with translations. Good luck :thumbs:
