HI guys:

i've done the fingerprint on Nov 26th, about 1 month ago, now i'm still waiting for the interview letter, i filed my I-485 on 10/19/12, till now its like 2 months and 1 week, about how long i can receive the interview letter? thx for helping!

is CIS closed during christmas time?

is CIS closed during christmas time? YES, of course, they observe regular government holidays.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Ah yes the dreaded holiday slowdown seems that is when we always want action also.

You could study the timelines for what yer doing, get an idea of what happened prior in the queue.

Some places are taking a while. I filed 9/11, did my biometrics 10/12 and still don't have an interview date (or RFE, or anything else). Sit tight and find a good hobby to keep you occupied.

Heard from another filer that she took 14 weeks between her biometrics and letter for the interview (18 weeks between biometrics and interview itself) so I'd repeat my previous advice. Sit tight, hold on, hurry up and... wait! It could be a while.

Some other people asked this before, and honestly, this is vary from applicant to applicant. As you see, travelfairy is waiting for "forever", I got mine a month later from the date of my EAD card arriving in the mail. This really varies...just wait, you'll hear from them! All the best! And happy new year! :)
