Hello to everybody!!

ok.. Im the alien an the K1 application.. Im publicist and I have a job. But my USC boyfriend does not have a job since may 2005.. So I send him money and I support him financially. WHAT TO DO WITH THE AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT? if obviously he has nothing!!

If I find a USC sponsor diferent than my fiancee, does my fiancee have to give me his 134 form signed and notarized stating he has no work or money..?? But he can still provide me home and food while I get a work permit??

Thank you for your help if someone knows!!

There is no need for your fiance to complete a I-134 if you have another US sponsor. Some members however have this on hand just in case.

Also have a look at the below link where there is a post on ways of overcoming the Public Charge factor.

BrendaBeaux,

The question you ask in your first fparagraph is an excellent one.

Immigration issues aside, there is the practical matter of who is going to support both you and your boyfriend if you are given a K1 visa to come to the USA. You may have a job now, but after you come to the USA it could be a good long while before you get another one.

And why hasn't your boyfriend gotten a job in the last 9-10 months since your plan to immigrate means that his gigolo days must end.

Some Consulates allow self-sponsorship, but I do not know about Mexico.

Yodrak raises a good point, it will be a few months until you are able to work in the US so someone needs to be bringing in money!
