OK, so quick... came to puerto rico as a minor with my mother, overstayed by 10 years. i am now 18 graduated highschool (not being able to go to college because i dont have a ssn)

my bf of 3 years proposed, he is a us citizen(born in USA). WE would like to get married in 2 weeks but a few things are stopping me.

1) we went to the demographic registry to get a marriage license ( we need to take some blood test, etc) ok no problem, but since im 18 i NEED my mom to accompany

my bf and I to sign the paper.

IN puerto rico the age to get marriage without parents consent is 21.

2)My mom also overstayed by about 10 years and has no ssn or anything, would they deport her if she goes to the demographic registry with me? Would they contact immigration and try and have her deported ( or us both )?

3)Also, i just recently renewed my passport but the picture in it is still when i was really young ( i was 7years old in the passport picture), but it is still valid. my question is would the people in the demographic registry office give me problems with my passport being my only picture ID, seeing that the picture was when i was very young?

it is very nerve wrecking seeing that i am suppose to get married in 2 weeks, now my mother does not even want to go with me to the demographic registry to sign to consent form in fear of her deportation.

We where planning to file Adjustment of status as soon as we got married, we even have a lawyer.

It is horrific not know if i will be married or not, because of my mothers fear.

please any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Well you've been living there illegally with your mother for 10 years and neither of you paying taxes. Your first option is to apply for Deferred Action. Your mother's first option is to go back to her home country and apply to come here legally.

**** Moving from AOS from Family Visa to AOS from Tourist Visa ****

You can get married and adjust status, see here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2

They won;t have people waiting for your mom at the demographic office, I wouldn't worry about that, especially if she doesn't need to give her address.

Regarding your passport, they may give you a hard time, but it's a legal passport so I believe they have to accept it.
