Dear all,

I'm kind on confuse..

My husband sent our i130 petition to USCIS on December 7, 2012 and we got email notification on December 14, 2012 saying:

Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number MSC---------------. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.

Is there anybody here could tell me what it means? Because I'm newbie here, and as far as I read the forum, the petition usually go to the local station, like Texas, California, etc.

And I can't find any timeline for NBC in USCIS for i130.. I'm kind of confused and worried..

My questions are:

1. Is there something wrong with our petition?

2. We just found out that I'm 3 weeks pregnant now, could it be boaster for make our petition faster (expedite reason)?

3. We haven't received the hard copy of noa1 yet, should we call them? (Well, it's not been 7-10 days yet, but I can't wait, hehe)

Thank you so much for any answer or reply in regards of this matter.. :)

1. If you'd take a look around you'd see all I-130s are currently going there.

2. No, that is not a valid reason for an expedite. You found out you were pregnant a week before your period was due? (that is what 3 weeks is). Congrats. I've got a faint line this morning, but mine isn't due for a couple days so I'm waiting to be 100% sure that it isn't a false positive or evap line.

3. No, I'd wait to 30 days to call them and even then they are unlikely to issue you another one as you've gotten the notification already.
