I am new but I hope someone with experience can answer my question. This past week I noticed a change in the timeframe for Vermont Processing. With the holidays coming up I figured some back log. I check weekly and it was still on board for 5 months which my date to check case status would be december 27th. Now the site shows it was updated October 30 2012 which it has not been as I have the screen printout. Now it says last case proccessed may 21 2012. and acfording to the timeline I created on VJ....it says February 20-March 3rd :( That's almost 8 months waiting just to be approved :S is this normal??? and how much longer after approved should I expect to wait to finish the process? should I count another 6 months or so? Thank you in advance for replies!-Sandra

Yes it is normal processing time. Sorry. After that the process takes about another 3-4 months depending on how fast you make it through the NVC,and how fast the consulate involved schedules your appointment for interview
