I don't think the VSC will agree to do a service request for you since your PD isn't within their processing time, but if I were you, I'd still call, try to get to a tier 2 officer and explain the situation.

Good luck and please come back and tell us what they say!

No.. I didn't hear anything about NOA2. My PD is 21 June 2011 which is 4 months later than you. If you check, processing duration in USCIS,the VSC shows 21.5 months based on their update 30 October 2011. So, obviously u r over 21.5 months. Call them and explain the situation.hopefully good news coming soon. update us about any news.

No Athena...I haven't called yet..Will call today..was out of town because of emergency...

My PD is 5 Months away from current PD. Its scary because we should get our Approval if our PD is 6-8 months away from the current PD.

Is this the sign of Slow movement.GOD Please don't this to US..Please show your Grace ...

My PD is Feb 2011 too, filed at the Vermont Service Center. I changed my residence a week ago, so I filed the AR-11 form with the USCIS. I got a case status update from the USCIS that my address has been updated. However, my application is still under "Initial Review". I don't think my application case status is going to change soon. Will have to wait a little longer.

It's not the sign of slow movement. It's just some of you stuck at VSC. I have the same PD as yours but CSC so my case is complete at NVC and now just waiting for the interview date.

You should definitely call them and find out what's going on with your case.

My lawyer has put in a service request as of last week. I was asked to wait up to 30 days for a response. I will update then. Good luck with your application! Hope the NOA2's start moving again. It has been stuck at both centers for quite a while now.

Hello guys,

This year started with more bad news, vermont updated their status and still in jan 23 2011 For our NOA2

https://egov.uscis.g...TimesDisplay.do

The processing times are "as of November 30, 2012". I am sure all of you are tracking your individual case status as well. I can tell you that as of today (Jan 4, 2013), my application has not been touched since Feb 10, 2011 (my PD is Feb 3, 2011 at VSC). I don't expect the date to change from Jan 23, 2011 for the next 2 months at least.

Anil, Normally a SERVICE REQUEST will be process within 2weeks.

my husband has made a call to USCIS, manage to call and spoke to the Tier 2 ISO (Immigration Service Officer) supervisor, after long conversation and arguments, my husband pushed to the officer to tells us what's really going on with our case and he said on his screen tells that my case has been touched on last December 13th, but they didn't say what it's mean.. and then my husband insist to asked for a Service Request, and the officer agreed to make us SR and said they will send the result within 2weeks from now.

I hope I will get good news soon. will update later.

I did not receive anything from the USCIS after a Service Request was placed. My lawyer then sent an email to Vermont Service Center last week. I'll wait another two weeks before contacting them for an update.

The procedure is explained in this link:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextchannel=68439c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextoid=c561767d005f2210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

Good luck with your Service Request. I hope something positive comes out :-). I don't know why they have not processed any NOA2 approvals in the past several months (with the exception of a few randomly selected ones).

Anil
