so on friday i received a checklist for my ds-230 which stated that i needed originals BC and MC

so i looked at the copy of my package and i did send originals for BC and MC i also included a photocopy because thats what the requested these two were stapled together. so i called nvc again and i asked to have a supervisor review it and also included the fact that i stapled a photocopy.

today i called and they said that the supervisor still doesn't consider them originals and that i should send a new one problem is

the other one is exactly the same as the one i sent and i checked online for what they are looking for and its the same thing

i quote "Two types of birth certificates are available: a condensed version called an "Extracto de Acta" and a longer version, called an "Acta Inextensa," which contains more information. Both versions are legitimate civil documents; however, only the Acta Inextensa is accepted for immigrant, K and V visa purposes.

Dominican civil documents used for visa purposes must be legalized at the Oficina Central del Estado Civil, the main civil registry office in Santo Domingo.(and the same thing goes for MC)

so what do they want me to do if what i sent is what they ask for?

i asked to have a supervisor contact me sometime this week is that the right thing to do?

Take it EASY and DO NOT give up!! You are closed to done! Make sure its not the "fake checklist" that they send out thats one. And yes NVC only accepts "ACTA INEXTENSA" of both marriage and birth cert. If you called and stated that you wanted a Supervisor to review your file and is still requesting you send in those documents. Just do it over again and send in the ACTA INEXTENSA, also trying calling again speaking to other rep. as each rep tends you give the same yet a different answer everytime you call and explain to them exactly what you mailed out in your pkg. Also see if you can actually submitted a copy of both birth and marriage cert. with a cover letter explaining that you have submitted the correct documents. I know of a case that something similar like this happen and they had her submit a copy of the document and it was accepted.

Good Luck and don't give up!

i would call once a day, talk with a supervisor, explain all,

and tell that supervisor that you EXPECT him or her

to

Sort out the documents that were already sent

by

asking the reviewer human to take another look at the documents,

or

by asking a supervisor in the reviewing section for some oversight on the reviewer human

as

that reviewer human has gotten it wrong.

Good Luck !

Seriously - do that once a day, you'll get some result.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
