LPR/USC for Joint Sponsor. What form should my joint sponsor use?

Hello everyone,

We are still waiting for London Case Number but I want to prepare this ahead of time before we pay for all the fees of NVC stage.

My Husband's fall on below poverty. My questions are:

1. Could an LPR able to serve as my joint sponsor with my husband(USC)?

2. Which for should my joint sponsor use? I-864 and/or I-864A?

3. Could my cousin and her husband be my joint sponsor?

She said that they are petitioning their son as well but they signed as joint to get their son

(both of them have enough income and doesn't fall on below poverty level).

4. As part of contract of beneficiary(as household member) and Sponsor (petitioner), Do I need to fill up the I-864A

Sorry if I have lot of queries, I am really confused now. Looking for co-sponsorship is draining our energy, emotional/physical strength as some of our trusted friends/relatives has turned us down.

1. Yes, as long as they are actually living in the USA. Provide evidence of their status.

3. Yes and if they need to combine income, I-864 from one and I-864a from the other

4. No. You provide your own I-864 properly completed, whether you qualify or not. You are the primary sponsor.

The OP has indicated her husband is the USC which would make her the beneficiary and her husband the primary sponsor.

Please stop with the someone told me. The scenario described in this discussion will work fine. You have one qualified sponsor or a married couple. Instead of listening to others who know little, how about reading the I-864 instructions for yourself?
