Good afternoon everybody!

I have tried looking through the forums for the answer of the following, but have been unsuccessful.

I recently got our I-797C, after submitting the documents for the AOS following a K-1 fiance visa entrance.

I received the I-797c, and on it it had the number and bar codes for the I-485 and I-765 (work authorization.), and it had the appointment listed at the local USCIS office which she needs to go to for the biometrics.

However, the I-131 (advanced parole) document was not listed.

I submitted all documents together, but only did the first page as a "Electronic notice" G-1145.

1. Is that normal?

2. Could it be possible that I would receive a separate I-797c for the I-131?

Just concerned as my wife would ned the AP to travel back to COlombia in April. THanks for any/all advice.

The I-765 is going to have an endorsement which will say that the card serves also as I-131. Two cards in one

In February 2011, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) began issuing employment and advance parole authorization on a single card for certain applicants filing an Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Form I-485. An applicant may receive this card when he or she files an Application for Employment Authorization, Form I-765, and an Application for Travel Document, Form I-131, concurrently with or after filing Form I-485. If USCIS approves both the Form I-765 and the Form I-131, the applicant may receive one card that will serve as both an employment authorization document and an advance parole document.

Hope this helps

The biometrics letter contains the case numbers of the AOS and EAD only, it's normal. Biometrics are not needed for the AP. As said, when you apply for EAD and AP at the same time, the result will be a combo-card, more precisely, an EAD card with a mention that it serves as an AP also.

You should receive 3 I-797C for your 3 applications soon. Usually, it is sent before or at the same time as the biometrics letter. Looks like your biometrics letter arrived faster!
