We have received green card before receiving EAD renewal card.

Do we need to cancel biometric appointment for EAD or can we simply ignore and not worry about EAD cancelling ?

I know EAD is no longer required for work, but don't want any pending case with USCIS.

Call the number for USCIS listed on the appointment letter. To be extra sure it cancels, send a letter canceling to your local USCIS office where the biometrics would be done.
