I'm working on the I-864, Affidavit of Support, but I'm a little confused about what all I need to include when submitting it. I know I need my most recent tax forms, and am planning to include the past 3 years. Do I need to include evidence of domicile or is that assumed since I have a US address on the form? Also, can I include income from properties I own (rent from tenants) on item #23?

No evidence of domicile is needed for US Citizens already living in the USA. Supporting documentation for the affidavit depends on the circumstances. Note that when you have self employment income (like rent from tenants) your stated past and present income comes from line 22 of the 1040 form. If you also have a job, that doesn't matter. Your "current income" will also be on line 22 of the 2011 tax return.

Many landlords operate at a loss, so beware of line 22.
