Hello all, My mother had her interview in Bogota for her residency. She was approved and she now has her passport back with the stamp. I have not seen the stamp but my question is if this IS her residency stamp or is there another form to adjust her status once she arrives? Is this the end of the road for us finally?

Thanks!

hi, nope that's it, she will receive her GC in the US. in the meantime, the i551 acts as the residency visa, and she can travel and work until she receives the card in the mail.

she will be processed at POE and will wait for her GC in the mail

congrats to her!!

hello, what she has on her passport is an immigrant visa which allows her to travel to the US, once she arrives at the POE, her paperwork will be processed and then she will become a LPR.
