Hi all

My wife started to work this year only, and her income now exceeds the poverty line, but we are confused about the directions given by the NVC and the posts by other people, since all the posts are talking about the past three years tax transcripts, while the NVC is talking about the most recent one only, keep in mind she was a student before and her income was less than the poverty line limit. So can anyone advice us about what to do? At the same time, she don't have any tax transcript but for the past year, since it was by the name of her family before that.....your reply is really appreciated :)

You have to talk to those in your embassy. Each one has their own requirements on tax transcripts and sponsorship.

I thought the Tax transcripts were for the American citizen only......do they need my own tax transcripts as well? since I'm a student only, so I don't have any at all!!

I was asking about my wife (The American citizen one)......:)
