Hello VJ'ers I just want to make sure if all our requirements was good already. My interview will be on November 5 this coming and I was anxiety to think about. I want to make sure I have all the requirements. Here's my document's.

1. Passport

2. DS form (156, 156k, 157)

3. Appointment Letter

4. NSO Birth Certificate

5. NBI Clearance

6. Bank Reciept

7. Form I-134, ITR, W2

8. Coppies of my Fiance Passport, Birth Certificate

9. Skype Chat logs, Emails, Mails

10. Photos

k1 doesnt need a DS 230 form

Depends on the consulate. I understand Manila doesn't require the DS-230 for K-1s, but many others do. From the Department of State K-1 information page:

Required Documentation

You, the foreign-citizen fiancé(e), (and eligible children applying for K-2 visas) will be required to bring the following forms and documents to the visa interview:

• Two (2) Nonimmigrant Visa Applications, Form DS-156 (prepared in duplicate).NOTE: K-1/K-2 visa applicants should not fill in Form DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application
• One (1) Nonimmigrant Fiancé(e) Visa Application, Form DS-156K
• One (1) Application For Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, Form DS-230, Part I (You are not required to complete Part II.)

K Visa applicants applying at U.S. Consulate General Montreal and U.S. Consulate General Ciudad Juarez have different application form requirements. Review information on the U.S. Consulate General Montreal orU.S. Consulate General Ciudad Juarez website to learn which forms you must complete.

• A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the U.S. (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions)
• Divorce or death certificate(s) of any previous spouse(s) for both you and the U.S. citizen sponsor
• Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for 6 months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)

• Evidence of relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e)

Documents in foreign languages, other than the language of the country in which the application takes place, should be translated. Applicants should take to the visa interview clear, legible photocopies of civil documents and translations, such as birth and divorce certificates. Original documents and translations will be returned.

How about the updated letters of intent to marry ( both of you) and , 3 recent pay stubs, BPI receipt, and Medical Exam Result. Just to make sure include all the documents of your proof of meeting like hotel receipts, flight itineraries, etc.. and your fiance's passport entry/exit in PI. Bdwy, other evidences of your proof of meeting are phone billing statements, money remittances and shipment receipts. Lastly, engagement ring receipt if you have. (optional)

Updated letter of intent from both of you, letter of employment of your Fiance, if single NSO CENOMAR, if annulled marriage NSO Annotated Marriage Certificate and Finality from Court, passport-style photos

DS-230 is not required in USEM. Only DS-156, 156K and 157

For some reason, during my interview, the Filipino pre-screener asked for my baptismal certificate. I'm not late registered or anything so I am not sure why they asked me for it. Fortunately, I read a similar case (asked for baptismal certificate)on VJ prior to my interview so I brought a photocopy. The two beneficiaries I met there weren't asked for their baptismal certificate though, but I suggest bringing a copy just in case they ask for one. God bless you on you interview
