2 sponsor questions...!

First question is... If u never filed for taxes before..but u have a job (a new job) that makes the poverty line (or 125%) ..will they not exempt that? If u have a letter from ur boss and past pay stubs..if u don't have the tax returns or those papers will they not except u and want a co sponsor?

Also what if u DON'T make enough money to get to the poverty line? (Besides cosponsor)...I've heard that the foreign fiancé can make up for it?. How?

How new is the job? If it's a month or so they may not accept it (up to the embassy), but if it is a few months and you have a letter from the employer saying it is permanent, they probably will. How far into the process are you? One option would be to file taxes asap in 2013, rather than wait till April.

Your foreign fiance generally cannot help make up the financial sponsorship. However, if he has assets, they could be transfered into joint names and that would count. You'd need to be careful not to give the appearance that you are "paying the USC for the visa".

We're going to send out the first li129 forms ..we wanted to already but new questions keep coming up..so by the time it will get over to his country it'd probably be 7 or 8 months?

And what do u mean by assets? Money I supposed cuz that's the only thing that can be transferred into my account..besides money he has a huge chunk of land that's very expensive and a car and such..anything about those that can be done??

15th April is the deadline, not the day you must file taxes

Assets is things like savin gs acount, shares, property that can be sold (house, second car etc)

Could u maybe explain how it works if u don't make enough money but foreign fiancé has an asset?
